WW2 British Factory? FW ARPsteel Brodie helmet. The black paint to the outer surface with crudely painted white “ARP” as is often the case. Inside and outside with age wear rust patches in some places as to be expected. The internal liner complete, but dry (and in need of a dose of Renaissance wax or similar to improve it’s suppleness). The webbing green chin-strap is present but grubby.
An increasingly scarce and original example of a British Civil Defence Air Raid Wardens Helmet in reasonable overall condition.
