65in. Georgian flintlock cavalry pistol. 19. 1/4in. overall, barrel 12 in with London proofs also stamped with the GR Cifer and TOWER on the lock. Crisp action, walnut full-stock, with regulation brass mounts and later replacement wooden ramrod with original brass tip stamped with crown surmounting GR. Barrel and belt strap to a pleasing grey/ brown finish and lock to a pleasing steel grey finish. Prolific inspection marks throughout, some dings and knocks to the stock, brass butt and cap, trigger guard and lock side-plate. Other than replacement wooden ramrod pistol in very good overall condition commensurate with age.
