65in. Georgian flintlock cavalry pistol. 15. 1/4in. overall, barrel 9 in with Birmingham proofs also stamped SARGANT & SON and WARRANTED on the lock. Crisp action, walnut fullstock, with regulation brass mounts and original/ correct all steel stirrup ramrod. Barrel to a pleasing grey/ brown finish and lock to a pleasing steel grey finish. Some dings and knocks to the stock, brass butt and cap, trigger guard and lock side-plate. Pistol in very good overall condition commensurate with age.

As a 100+ year old obsolete calibre/ antique firearm no licence is required to own this item in the UK if retained as part of a collection or display. NB A FIREARMS CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED TO OWN THIS PISTOL FOR SHOOTING
