Description
Good quality (unnamed) percussion boxlock pocket pistol circa 1845. Hexagonal turn off barrel to dull steel grey with scroll engraved brass boxlock action. Trigger, trigger-guard and hammer also to dull steel grey. The chequered bag shaped single-piece butt with vacant brass lozenge shaped escutcheon. Action in working order. Accompanied with pus rod, vinatge oil can. percussion cap tin, and antique embossed copper and brass gunpowder flask. All contained in a glazed frame ready for hanging.
The pistol with some knocks and age wear commensurate with age and in good overall condition.
