3rd May 1880 East Cheshire Yeomanry Cavalry Carbine Shooting Prize Silver Plated Jug. The base maker marked "JAMES DIXON & SONS SHEFFIELD 85 E P B M" and further scratched "25x ap". Foliate engraved to the front with "Carbine WON BY Joseph Davies Tabley Troop E. C. Y. C. May 3rd 1880". The handle with woven wicker type covering with patterns (there appears to be a glued repair to this towards the bottom of the handle. Some surface scratches to the circumference and very slight loss of plating to lid at the hinge and the handle projection, otherwise in very good overall condition considering it's age.
