Description
65in. Georgian flintlock cavalry pistol. 15. 3/4in. overall, barrel 9. 7/8 in with Birmingham proofs also stamped with a Georgian crown on the lock. Crisp action, walnut fullstock, with regulation brass mounts and original/ correct all steel ramrod. Barrel and lock to a pleasing steel grey/ silver finish with old rust speckling and some minor pitting around the touch-hole, some dings and knocks to the stock, brass butt and cap, trigger guard, lock side-plate and ramrod pipes with some dings and the trigger-guard slightly bent/ flattened. Pistol in very good overall condition commensurate with age.
